If you're anything like me you work from home (or want to) and see the internet as a vehicle to personal freedom. I'll explain how I use internet marketing to create freedom but first let me tell you a little about myself...
Before I started internet marketing, I was the shipping manager for a large retail company. It was a good solid job, nothing special but I enjoyed it and the pay was good.
When my husband and I decided to start a family we agreed that I would stay home with our daughter rather than pay someone else to raise her. As the years went on, one thing lead to another and we even elected to homeschool her.
This was a great plan until... as happens to all too many women, my husband left us. I won't bore you with the details as they are interesting only to those personally involved, suffice it to say I no longer had an income, a place to live or transportation. Yes, Shelly Begarowicz had to make a decision...
Shove my daughter into school and try to find a JOB that would support us in the manner my daughter and I were accustomed to after 10 years of unemployment.
OR...
Try to keep what little stability was left in my daughters’ life and start a business for myself. One that I could work from home so I could continue our homeschooling and hopefully not disrupt my daughter’s life any more than it already was.
For Me The Decision Was Easy To Make Even If Implementing It Was Anything But Easy
I started out knowing almost nothing about the internet. I could surf the web and read email but that was about it. However, I had fallen in love with the internet. For a lover of learning and a homeschooler like me, being online is like living inside the biggest library you've ever seen! (Yes, Shelly Begarowicz is a bit of a Nerd and proud of it… LOL)
And the internets income potential fascinated me. I just knew there had to be a way to make a good living online. So my education began...
I read and read and read till my eyes crossed, joined this program and that one, spending a bundle of cash I didn’t have along the way. Listened to speaker after speaker... I even build a website or two and achieved moderate success. But the residual income the BIG money I knew was out there still eluded me.
